That is what Tucker's problem is. I have never seen anyone quite as insecure about his manhood, even personhood, as Tucker. Tucker is too wimpy to physically bully anyone so he does his bullying in front of a television camera.
Conversely, all they really have to do to prevent trump-style interrupting and yelling over each other, is to turn off the opponent's mike until the other candidate finishes speaking. (although, didn't trump flatly refuse to debate under those conditions? freakin chicken!)
The media would very much like to position him as a candidate for president because he wears fleece vests and looks like a suburban dad, but only if suburban dads are also fascists who wear fleece vests.
I got into a heated conversation on reddit with a supposed centrist who insisted that an article that opened with "six unelected ultra conservative judges, five of whom were put on the bench by presidents who lost the popular vote" -- every word of it factual -- was slanted journalism and would literally drive people to be MAGA.
I really got the feeling that he was astroturfing, for the purpose of deterring people from discussing the subject truthfully. I mean, how else could you put it? They're all facts.
it ain't news. It's allowing lies as propaganda.
If being forced to bear a child you can't handle isn't a "kitchen-table issue," then what the goddamned fuck is?!?!?!?!

I'm going to say it again. Committed bigots are not. your. audience.
You will not get them.
You need to be talking to people who call themselves "independents" who say they're "too busy to pay attention to the news"
People who don't understand "inflation" and "high gas prices" are caused by corporate corruption that Republicans allow.
People who say "all parties are the same" but who couldn't be bothered to get off the couch in 2016 or even in 2020.
If they're in your family, you need to drag those people to register and to vote if need be.

So the Sunday shows prove their worthlessness again. Just reading Michael's summaries is depressing enough.

Ta, MM. Anyone who stays home for next month's election or votes anything apart from a straight D ticket is a traitor to the USA.
If there's anything in life I really, really want it's Trump's sing-song, nasally voice. Shudder.
