If it were then an awful lot of lawyers couldn't pass the bar.

I have more faith in Phil Collins. And I hate Phil Collins.

I should be a lawyer, then. I have trouble passing bars.

Wouldn't hurt to start talking about it now. It will only happen if the Democrats are more or less aligned (and organized by Pelosi/Schumer). And that won't happen (the aligning) unless the people calling Democratic offices (yes we are going to have to do that until some genius comes up with a way to evolve consensus and focus it on legislators with some kind of online tool - what's taking them so fucking long?) are on the same page, more or less. Are we on the same page, more or less?

One thing Collins is not concerned about is the black vote when she runs for reelection. Maine is over 94% white, and only 1.6% black, so don't think that Farr's attacks on black voters will sway her to do anything. Racial equality is not something most Maine politicians need to concern themselves with.

There are some interesting data bits about other topics concerning states with a low black population percentage on that link.

And I can feel that faith, in the air, tonight.

At least there your enemy is easy to spot, and in general not the big guy who says he's on your side.

I always said "the Ukraine." I googled it when I read this. So, in the olden days, when it was part of the USSR, I guess it was "the Ukraine" and now it's just "Ukraine?"
