You need to contact your congress people so you can tell them to do the job you hired them to do...Its all JUST SO HARD....maybe they forgot?

Yeah, that's why I don't write or call my congress people...They KNOW why we voted for them...They KNOW what their 'job' was and the policy they actually RAN ON...

Fuck that noize

Expect to see Louis Gohmert soon appearing as Elmer Fudd and chanting “Kill the Wabbit.”

We’d be Bosnia in the 90s if the military had sided with Trump. Expect next summer before the midterms to sucketh greatly.

At what point will there be CONSEQUENCES?!! Damn right if anyone else had done the same, they'd be out of a job with the quickness!

I will be truly surprised if/when ANY one of these goobers "goes through some things". Otherwise, all bets are off. Turnabout is fair play.

eta: not condoning violence of any kind, I want these fools to lose their jobs/pensions/savings. All that. Leave'em dirt poor!

From the videos I've seen of Mr. Gosar, he appears to be suffering from some physical ailment. If that's the case, I do hope it's painful, and I do hope it isn't immediately terminal.

One thing Democratic members could do is freeze him out. That is, not acknowledge him as one would a colleague. Not listen to his comments. Openly talk while he’s speaking. Committee chairs not recognizing him. Members simply walking away if he tries to speak to them. And continually requesting his Republican colleagues to respond to Gosar’s threats and asking that their responses be retained for the record.

Every time Gosar attempts to speak on the floor, objections should be raised and should continue to be raised until it’s clear no business will be conducted with him.

Yeah, it all sounds like petty schoolyard shit, but it would drive him out of his fucking mind (admittedly a short drive). And if GOP leadership condemned the behavior and demanded that it stop, the reply should be “you first.”

All any Democrats need say in self-defense would amount to “I think he’s mentally ill and I fear he’s capable of violence; consequently, I will not interact with him. I have myself and my staff to consider.”

At minimum he should be kicked off any committees he is on. He should be removed.

He should be expelled, but that won’t happen. But he should suffer.

Nah, this was really usenet days, not enough bandwidth for video. I'm not sure you are wrong about possible danger, but it didn't feel that way to me.

Sort of a "compare and contrast" thing, I guess.

"Goosestep Paul" Gosar deserves to be treated as a professional pariah by his Democratic colleagues en masse and immediately. And if the right-wing types whine about the "unfair" treatment, then maybe they should get help for their addiction to thuggishness in public discourse.

Kicking him out of Congress is a non-starter. He could literally shoot AOC on the floor of Congress and republicans would still defend him.

The only thing democrats can do is the same thing they did to Margie Trolltoes: Kick him off all of his committee assignments..
