Young voters switched to McCarthy, who had no chance, and split the vote. Bobby was the candidate who had the broad support to win.
Remember too, that in 1968 Bobby was seen as a crusader for civil rights, whereas Humphrey, again, was not trusted by Black voters to stand firm. Whatever we now know to the Kennedy brothers' detriment was not part of the presidential campaign in 1968.

The Fifth Circut Court of Appeals is going to strike down Biden's Federal Regulation, since they are conservative leaning. Then, it is likely that Biden will send it to the Supreme Court. And your article doesn't even say this much. The Supreme Court, being the dicks that they are, undoing Roe v. Wade and all, are most likely going to undo DACA. Which is hurting everything else, and why we in the tech sector keep pushing to bring the H1Bs - I'd rather pay 20k to get someone here from India (and the cost associated with housing, relocation, visa renewal) because I need people now, and no one is available (little known fact people on H1B have to make the same or more than local resources - plus the COST of the visa and all taht other things - means I am paying through the roof for these ppl, and would gladly replace them for someone from the US in a heartbeat if there were people qualified or trainable).
DeSantis is one of those who affects stupidity to appeal to the base, but he's not a thick man. Our hope with him is that he comes across to the vast majority of people as being as uncharismatic and whiny as he seems to us.
