So I’ve done the train crossing at the border because I stupidly thought it would be more convenient than driving to Canada. This was pre-Trump, post 9/11. On our return back into the country, we were all required to get off the train and stand in a line while they walked in front of us with police dogs, and then we had to face the wall and repeat the process. We left all our belongings on the train when we went in to have our documents checked and they had the dogs go through all of our stuff then. After we were cleared to board the train, we had a two hour wait because there weren’t a lot of us and it didn't take long, but since trains have to run on time, we sat on a side track and were not allowed to use devices of any kind during that period. It sucked and I decided I was never doing that again. I can’t imagine how fun that would be every train ride, especially if they were looking for guns or weapons dogs can’t smell.
Just the fact that Fetterman used the MAGA term "TDS" should disqualify him from any position within the government. In fact, it disqualifies him from the community of reasonable, rational people.
Get real! "The narrative" is all these people know. Everyfuckingthing to them is a "narrative." Information and facts don't matter; what matters is what story you try to sell, and whether you can make it stick.

This morning (26 Apr) my spouse and I were discussing what happened at the WHCA Dinner, and I mentioned, half jokingly, that I think this is a false flag operation. Interestingly, every once in a while another tidbit drops to add to the theory. Reasons to date:
* The first security perimeter was a good distance away from the hotel, and you didn't get past it without a ticket, showed you were a guest at the hotel, a letter from the WHCA stating you were affiliated with the Dinner, or an employee of the hotel.
* There were multiple checkpoints you had to pass through leading to the hotel entrance.
* Mr Allen sprinted to try to get through the checkpoint with a magnetometer, but I would think that trying to run with a concealed shotgun might not be so easy. He said he wanted to limit collateral damage so it wouldn't be a sawed off shotgun, which is intended to do the opposite,
* When did Allen decide to make his stand? (I only skimmed the manifesto so it might be in it.)
◾ He -- wisely -- crossed the country by train avoiding TSA. Amtrak has a LA to DC run, through Chicago, that takes just over 2½ days.
◾ When did he book the hotel room? It's most likely the hotel was booked solid long ago given the international prominence of the event.
* Allen went from being an (almost literally) alter boy to a would-be assassin in less than ten years reeks of MK-Ultra.
* The Teflon Con Don™ is still noting that he was just one target -- and he became a target of opportunity.
◾ Given the above rough timeline Allen would have been making his plans prior to the guest of honor saying he'd be attending. Not something to count on given the Corrupt Coral Coward has not attended any prior when POTUS.
◾ So far, Trump [sic] has not made this all about him... yet. Winston Churchill said "Never let a good crisis go to waste." When his popularity was sagging a bit during the '24 campaign there were two assassination attempts that gave his ratings an immediate boost. It worked then, so why not try it now?
