If Ms. Loesch was actually committed to the free exchange of ideas she would: A) Stop making bad faith arguments that ask me to compare a gun with bullet dimensions, B) Stop excoriating those with mental illness while at the same time pretending to "protect" our rights, and C) stop frickin' blocking everyone on social media who asks her about all those millions of Ameros her Russian "friends" are laundering through the NRA.

"Dude. I love you. And I know it's not your fault and you didn't want to end up this way, it just got out of hand. But your house is jammed with hoarded newspapers. If there's a fire, they won't be able to get you out. Please. They have to go."

"Nah dude it's fine, you see I have all these jars full of my own piss..."

Nobody cares if she has Native American ancestry. It's not relative to her acting like a whore for (currently) the NRA and if she is, it doesn't mean her behavior reflects on other NAs. She is in danger of giving a bad name to people who sell themselves.

There are eight lineages in the cat family. Off the top of my head, I think only two have slit pupils.

The Second Amendment seems anachronistic to me. The conditions that would require "well-regulated" arming of local militias no longer exist. And by no means was it intended to arm citizens against a tyrannical government; the founders were a landed, wealthy ruling class, and the last thing they wanted was armed opposition to their authority. And the words "well-regulated" would suggest that some limitations should be in place regarding gun use and ownership. The idea that everyone should have his/her private arsenal is just not there.

So I started wondering if I was remembering correctly about the different cat lineages, and I wasn't. I reviewed all the cat family pics I have, and it looks like a lot of species have semi-round(?) pupils - at smallest opening, they are round, but as the pupil widens, it becomes higher than it is wide until it is round again fully dilated. In the panthera lineage, all Panthera genus (I think all are nocturnal) have fully round pupils, and the clouded leopard genus have fully slit pupils.

At the time, "well-regulated" meant well trained and disciplined. Disciplined meant clear line of command and obediance to higher ranks.
