Well, it was always meant to return whence it came anyway, given the innate atavism of American culture. American English is very much a relic of 17th century King's English.

My wife knows her. She was always a wingnut, but she used to try to use rationale and pretend to respect others. She was slowly getting more and more crazy throughout the Obama presidency, since Trump took the oath she's been spiraling down the rabbit hole. It's so strange that having a wingnut president would make wingnuts so angry.

If I recall correctly, they are homeschooled for religious/political reasons. I'd ask the wife, but apparently Loesch used to be sane and likable, and so was her husband. Aaaaaanyway, kids that grow up in cults always need therapy.

'To fisk' as in to subject to snarky fact-checking as one would do to rightwing journo Robert Fisk was a contendah for neologism about 10-12 years ago. It is a stretch too far

to say that Loesch was thinking 'fist.'

For that statement, anyway, the most you can accuse her of is terminal squareness.
