IOW Brooks, it's not the tone, it's the policies. Republican policies.
It's easy if you just remember no matter what, Democrats are always wrong and always to blame. Impeachment? wrong! No impeachment? wrong! Policy? wrong! No policy? Wrong!
Meanwhile, republicans are dismantling our civic norms and the rule of law at a rapidly increasing pace, which is apparently the Democrats' problem to fix because at some point we must have all agreed to never hold them to account.
And the policies of my er, accomplishments. And the size of my nonexistent wall. And of the piles of money I put into the hands of the Trump Organization, my family, my rich cronies, rich people who I hope desperately will accept me, governments of countries who murder people, andybody oh God anybody but the middle class or the poor.
