What kind of ROI on American assets could they expect at that amount?.... To a x-times bankrupt serial liar?Prepare for the worst here.

I'm not saying they expected the "loan" to be repaid from the ostensible Indonesian project but they certainly expect to get more than $500 million of returns from that transaction. Trump dropped sanctions against ZTE within 72 hours. Why would they abandon that "investment" in Trump and work against Trump's election ?

Deutsche Bank and Russian "investors" disagree - they just aren't obsessed with repayment in the scrupulous, conventional, manner.

I thought tosser meant someone who may be slightly sketchy, and to not give a toss means to not give a damn.

I think it was Charles R. Pierce who posited that an elected judiciary is one of democracy's worst ideas. He's not far wrong, IMO.

Of course. trump told McGann to fire Mueller to obstruct justice. Then, trump tampered with the witness by telling McGann to write a memo stating trump never told McGann to fire Mueller to stop the Mueller investigation.

The White House is probably full of people who wrote memos stating things like, 'trump never told me to lie my ass off on [add date and time]'.

En banc states the obvious. This will help when a Trump 2 tries the same and gets shut down asap.

No, no, the weasel already happened, in 2016. That's what caused the emergency shutdown of the LHC, which then caused us to flip into this dark mirror universe. In order to correct it, we need the tuna hurled at the LHC so our universe returns to the better one.

Now... admittedly, I'm from the Humanities, and I know nothing about quantum physics or string theory, but nonetheless I assure you this all scientifically accurate and stuff. Definitely.

I did not. I was O-U-T OUT. I may have woken up, thinking some truck went by or some shit, then went right back to sleepy-time, where I then had a dream that I was at a Random Bar in York, SC, having a beer, then two friends of mine came in, which was weird because they live in Asheville, then I noticed an ex I am on amiable terms with sitting on the other side of the bar, but she disappeared before I could go talk to her. The I woke up an hour post-earthquake.

It was all very odd, and even though it seemed normal and innocuous there was something very... off about it. I can't explain why.

Why not both? Lol.

Yeah, I dunno. Rape is hard to prove, especially when you threaten victims and their families, have a former CIA fixer turned personal AG running the DOJ, and a lot of time has passed. We might all believe he’s credibly accused, but getting a legal determination is much different.

Financial records can linger. Of course, our system is high-finance criminal-friendly.

"...they certainly expect to get more than $500 million of returns from that transaction."Yeah, I agree (such is the nuance of the internet). And, not just cash to consider here, but access to land grants or patents, maybe even a 'hall pass' for a dirtier deed, or an equity bid.Either way, it's always a good tip to remember that the Chinese gov't = Chinese business. There are no rogue agents working in that system.
