This week the man behind the video that completely disproved any thesis that Mitt Romney was capable of human emotions other than wrath and hatred went inside of Ed Schultz’s grizzly cave and self-doxxed. The world finally was able to put a name and a face to the man whose videotaping skilz accomplished more than a million filthy Occupy protesters in provoking our glorious and long overdue class war. Thanks Bartender/Comrade Scott Prouty! May you live a long a fruitful life in defiance of Mittens and Michael Wolff!
If you let it. I went to law school 25 years ago, and most of my close friends to this day came from that time and that school. We are not rich, we are not poor, we just do the best we can. Not all lawyers are assholes. Not all assholes are lawyers. Although there may be a correlation, correlation does not imply causation, kids.
Thanks for the link! Guy should have his 3 years paid for in short order, if everybody in the country who's grateful pitches in a few bucks. I'm seeing lots of $20, $50, even $100 thank-you notes!
Got to watch a public defender in action while on jury duty. "Cross-examination" consisted of having the cops repeat their testimony. We felt SO bad for the defendant -- first question when we got to deliberations was, "Is there any way we can possibly find this guy not guilty?" Answer was "no", so we talked about how terrible his lawyer was, for just long enough to get the free lunch.
He was really smart not to reveal himself at the same time the video was released. Wingnuttia would have been all over him and his kitchen counters and would have completely drowned out the real message that Rmoney was a platinum plated douche bag.
In a law firm there's 2 magic words that will quickly take the wind out of the sails of every socially responsible lawyer. "Billable hours".
I'd like to propose the creation of a fundraising item (in the Bazaar?) to raise money for Scott - with the condition that he puts it to any use other than law school - say a film school degree, rolling papers, hookers and blow...
Yeah, well, I&#039;m posting the link anyway because I have been wanting to thank this guy for months. And if he wants to go to law school and become a lawyer, I&#039;m happy to help fund that. I know some pretty amazing attorneys, whose first and last name may be Bill Ablehours, but whose middle name is Probono. So here: <a href="http://www.gofundme.com/1ix17c" target="_blank">" rel="nofollow noopener" title="http://www.gofundme.com/1ix17c">http://www.gofundme.com/1ix...
The guys in the background are priceless.

Great Mark Twain observation:
&quot;If a small town has just one lawyer, he&#039;ll starve, but if another one moves in, they&#039;ll both get rich.&quot;
Maybe a Wonkette scholarship for exceptionally deserving law school students?
Single-handedly saving the nation (and the world) from the Rethuglicans is an awfully hard act to follow.
&quot;makes more money than I ever did&quot;
Yeah, well..

Mr. Prouty, you have my sincerest gratitude. And if ever we meet, the drinks are all on me.
He wants to become a lawyer to &quot;help others&quot;?
That&#039;s hi-<em>lar</em>-ious!
At least he doesn&#039;t want to become a priest.

Agreed. The good ones are real heroes and there are plenty of them.
