“what if we lose?” defeatist wussy talk

Seriously, DNC- it's that damned attitude that keeps so many of us liberal independents from joining your party. You bunch of triangulating SOBs refuse to put it on the line and have the courage of your convictions so often that millions of us are sick of your defeatist BS. How about insteading of whimpering about a possible loss, you actually do what it takes to win in 2016? And maybe quit sliding to the right every chance you get, also too?

If a GOP prez, especially a TeaParty leaning prez, wins the next go round we're fucked regardless of who's on the bench.

yes, those are the stakes. But that is more reason to keep another RWNJ tool out of the White House. It is more reason to vote for progressive Senators so they will make sound decisions in appointing lower court judges. It is more reason to elect the right President to REPLACE Roberts, Alito, Scalia and Thomas. And do everything in our power to make sure that Roberts understands that the only SCOTUS Hall of Fame he is getting voted into is the one Roger Taney is burning in.

RBG is right. She worked hard to get where she is and has been doing a great job of protecting my rights. To quote the great lady herself...

Throwing out preclearance when it has worked and is continuing to work to stop discriminatory changes is like throwing away your umbrella in a rainstorm because you are not getting wet.

Please RBG, keep on trucking and writing those awesome dissents. I trust you when you say they will stand the test of time.
