This is what Trump looks like when he steps on his dick. At the outset: NO, we are not about to defend Donald Trump, who is terrible and horrible and should never be president, in this post. We just would like to remind the media, which seems to have recently gotten struck by the possibilities that for real, there is a chance Trump could be president, and for real, the Fourth Fucking Estate might actually have responsibilities beyond "BOTH SIDES DO IT!" and "Gosh, Trump and Hillary BOTH have their scandals!" during this election cycle. We're not saying actual journalistic ethics in the media coverage of this election have fully taken hold, but that there have been a couple of encouraging developments lately, notably with the
Well, even Joe said he didn't think he meant it to be mean, but that he just doesn't GET IT. I believe he was actually trying to bash the VA, as he went on to say something about how it they got right in to see someone they could get some meds or a shot or something, which would prevent all the problems. But there are SO many actual outrageous things the guy has said that it does us no good to say he said something he didn't. And I hate this guy. I just like accuracy and stuff.
As long as the Trump camp has put everything on the table, concocting lie after lie, it is only fair game that we obfuscate the stories about Trump. After all, it's up to the candidates themselves to do the fact-checking, right? "Many people" are saying Trump thinks PTSD sufferers are cowards. "Many people" are talking about Trump being a cocaine addict.
I don't know how affected my dad was by WWll, but he didn't treat his sons from his first marriage very well, and he basically ignored my sister and I, so, I think a lot of them had what is now called PTSD. Men from that situation were more stoic and withdrawn, emotionally. You really can't compare WWll with VietNam and Iraq/Afghanistan..they are so different on so many levels.
Now that he isn't impervious anymore, we're back to typical media hype. Sort of refreshing, sort of irritating. We don't need to pad Trump's shit resume.
Each of the MGS games has its own special charm, but MGS4 will probably forever be my favorite just because it so fantastically captures the exhaustion of a life of total war.
Plus that microwave hallway. That part was remarkably emotionally taxing.
I agree with all of the above. I hate it when things are taken out of context, like the guns and religion comment, which was quite astute and sensitive. Just like the Bernie basement dwellers spin is total b.s., and was also astute and sensitive. I'm not saying these idiots are handling things like champs, but stick to when it is truly their intentions to be horrible, please! Here's something completely worth the trouble of being aghast over, that I am hearing nothing about: http://talkingpointsmemo.co...
How does anyone come away from a war w/o PTSD? The ones w/o it may be the ones to worry about, a la Chris Kyle. It is not normal to kill other human beings. It is hard-wired into our brains. How the military manages to break that....I don't know.

i don't know, i keep seeing stories about how primates, including us, are the most violent animals on the planet.
It's the Tragedy of the Commons. These morons like it.
If the WWII vets had claimed 10% of the problems the Vietnam and Iraq vets do, the US economy would have collapsed.

I thought it might have been from Deus Ex, and I knew it wasn't from Fallout ("war never changes"). I bought MGS but haven't had time to play it yet.
After Trump makes us all rich, I'll get on it.http://boingboing.net/2016/...

"he was actually trying to be empathetic."
When your emotional range includes rage and more rage it is pretty tough to get empathy in there.

How on earth could Trump possibly step on his micropenis? He's old, and probably not very flexible, and I'm sure his legs don't get up that far....
Yes. Well, er, probably.
I don't mind a little bit of a challenge to consider and justify (or not) my thoughts.
So did Trump set fire to his dick and eat it or not? Because I read it somewhere on the internet.
