Mostly have avoided commenting on this because I’m not naive into believing there’s “one magic solution” to fixing this.

But the Us has to say enough. Exert every last of pressure available. Put conditions on money and weapons transfers. Give them actual consequences for choosing to disregard them.

Remember, Netanyahu is facing criminal prosecution, and if he leaves office he could quite likely wind up in prison. Knowing this, do you think he would ever want to end this war, which is the only thing keeping him in power?

While you're thinking about THAT shit sandwich, keep in mind that a guy who could be our next president will be in the same position, facing possible prison time if he ever left office, and an "emergency" could justify his continued hold on power.
