Oh, man, we dun goofed. We have upset a nice Christian lady with our meanspirited mockery of a beautiful Erik Estrada movie, and we should feel bad, says would-be commenter "Nanadeg1":

Why do people have to bash someone who is trying to do something wonderful, bringing the word of Jesus to the younger generation. I am proud to say I will be attending the premier of this movie and have been waiting anxiously for it since they started filming back in July. My niece is the female lead and I am very proud of the young Christian woman she is and that she is part of this wonderful film. God Bless all of you and perhaps you should see the film before you pass judgement on it.

We are genuinely glad that you are proud of your niece Nanadeg1! It's exactly how a good aunt should feel. We'll have to admit we have some doubts about the wonderfulness of a film that paints public schools and teachers as an oppressive atheist-run machine that is trying to destroy Jesus, and which appears (from the trailer at least) to lie about separation of church and state. But we promise to see it and write a full review when it is released in January. Heaven knows it's sure to show on multiple screens in Boise.

Our story yesterday about the fake Obamacare site set up by Republicans in the California Assembly was not appreciated by "gumshoe4096," who cautioned,

Perhaps gumshoe4096 misunderstood the article -- we weren't defending a fake website designed to mislead people about the healthcare exchanges, we were mocking it. Please, do try to keep up.

We have two entries in the "timely replies" category; the first, from "Mel632," did not care for our January 2013 story about ugly bag of mostly lipids Rush Limbaugh and his amusing joke "You know how to stop abortion? Require that each one occur with a gun." Mel632 served up this heaping plate of word salad with thousand-derp dressing:

What about the type of bullying called gangstalking that is going on? Besides, all babies start out as microscopic in the beginning. So why is it ok to kill them?

We thought at first that "gangstalking" had something to do with gangs or the banging done by same, but it is apparently a conspiracy thing that we don't care to look into any further, because HAARP COINTELPRO Chemtrails Sheeple BLUE MEANIES!!!!! Also, it is only ok to kill microscopic babies if hundreds of them are threatening to take up permanent dead residence in your womb, because Science. Thank you for asking.

We also got this very important "god you are SO DUMM" note from "skipatrol" on our long-ago April 2013 piece on your new Canadian boyfriend, Justin Trudeau. Skipatrol just wanted to point out that we included a glaring error in the piece, which said that Justin is "the son of the former Canadian prime minister Garry Trudeau," and wrote,

Pierre, his dad's name was: PIERRE!

Thanks for the correction, skipatrol! Let's be completely clear about this: we were only "joking," and we know full well that Garry Trudeau is the former Prime Minister of Pierre, North Dakota.
