We got a bumper crop of idiots in the comments this week, for some reason -- our fault, really, since Yr Wonkette had to go and stir up trouble by writing stuff about the poors, the blacks, the gays, and the Duggars -- add your own punchline. Our piece on a
ND knows the true story behind the "starving obese". They're snacking on Soylent Green when nobody's looking. Meanwhile the REAL AMERICANS who aren't moochers have to make do with Soylent Beige! Thanks a lot Obummer libtards!
Everyone knows that Soylent Green is actually made of the tears of St. Ronald Reagan! And of course it is a a total lie that the top marginal tax rate under St. Ronald Reagan was an America killing 51%!!!
Hmm... I have to admit, that's a new one to me. Either that or I'm parsing it wrong. I do know though that it's never THEIR fault that people can't live on table scraps and pocket change. And that their hands are tied when it comes to doing anything about it.
It's very late at night here and my eyes have started to glaze over so . . . being poor will make you obese and then turn you black in which case you'd better not ride in the back of a police wagon with gays who haven't found Jesus because it's your own fault you didn't get free cable to show you how to make a transvestite, (or a tranvestite) in your garage. Did I get that right?
In the state of Tennessee it requires a certification from the state board of cosmetology, and regular inspections by the governor's office. Frequent inspections.
FWIW, I think the "free cable" thing comes from the regulations that require cable companies to offer, for a resonable cost, basic cable packages that largely consist of the local broadcast stations.
The fact that these packages still cost something (generally about $9/month) and that many non-poor people appreciate the opportunity of not paying $30 extra a month for the privilege of not watching ESPN is too much truth for the average wingnut to incorporate into their worldview.
Oh and this... Logic Kindergarten!

So, Dok's making transvestites in the garage? Finally we see where the nickname comes from ...
Btw, what are the licensing requirements for that?
Last of the Mohicans FTW!

I haven't seen food stamps being used in over 10 years, it's all on plastic.
Unless you are really prying to see what the person in front of you is taking out of their purse or wallet, how would anyone know?
Ahh.. I answered my own question. Totalitarians spying on others in a panopticon of distrust.
