"Dr." Lopez. Yeah, sure.

OTOH, the good "doctor-eh" sounds a lot like "Dr. Paul":

"The Founding Fathers envisioned a robustly Christian yet religiously tolerant America, with churches serving as vital institutions that would eclipse the state in importance. Throughout our nation's history, churches have done what no government can ever do, namely teach morality and civility. Moral and civil individuals are largely governed by their own sense of right and wrong, and hence have little need for external government. This is the real reason the collectivist Left hates religion: Churches as institutions compete with the state for the people's allegiance, and many devout people put their faith in God before their faith in the state."http://archive.lewrockwell....

The problemo: "Ron Paul, Ralph Nader agree on 'Progressive-Libertarian Alliance'"https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Why the left is losing its collective shirt to right-wing morons:)

It had a lesbian scene with Naomi Watts (and the other lady was even better looking). That is all.

Too bad Dr Lopez is a professor at Wendy's University (pro-tip: he's the original grill master) because the academic world badly needs someone who speaks in a similar fashion to "All your base are belong to us" and "someone set us up the bomb"....such a tragic loss

"Yeah just leave all the southern borders open to invasion!"

So Texas is perfectly capable of defending itself, and the US is incapable of defending the southern borders (the southern borders of Texas or the southern borders of the Texas-less US?) without Texas.

Hm. These guys are right: It's hard to argue with logic like that.

I, for one, enjoyed Dr. Lopez' "assign comments."

If it is the same person, "Robert Lopez is assistant professor of English at California State University-Northridge," then I am "disapoint" in our educational system. But the rabid anti-marriage-equality stance seems right.

This is a complaint I hear from wingnuts *all the time* - "how dare you not take the incredibly stupid shit I say seriously enough to debate it as though it made sense?"

This country was build on laws that have come from the Book Of The Laws Of The Dead (Necronomicon), because there is no other book that is logical or practical to guide man on a daily basis.

"All you do is demonize everyone because your ability to use reason or logic is non-existent, Your mush you call a brain only hears what it wants to hear and filters out reason and logic."

I'm sorry, is this irony?

Yeah, secession is all fun and games until you find yourself on the wrong side of the border fence trying to sneak into Arkansas to pick cotton.
