The U.S. state of Oregon established vote-by-mail as the standard mechanism for voting with Ballot Measure 60, a citizen's initiative, in 1998. I couldn't find how Nebraska implemented its mail in process.
I just don't think vote by mail is something republicans let happen. The Nebraska system requires people to request a "no excuses" absentee ballot, whereas in Oregon, everyone is sent a ballot and information about the election. Ballots are returnable by mail or you may drop them off at any of numerous drop off sites.
It looks like turnout for NE was 71% whereas here in Oregon we had 79% and apparently they consider that low since the vote by mail initiative was passed.
Or will double reaganomics pay off this time and it really just an accident (I'm not familiar with what he did in CA but I'm sure its is awesome as always)?
I get the feeling I will be short selling and buying option puts rather than the momentum buying that is going on now some time in about 4 years.
