So many right-wing blowhards just LOSE THEIR SHIT at the concept of “unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats” who have power over things. Someone needs to make a highlights reel of all of them saying it, and play it on loop next time they try to say Elmo is a “special government employee.”
At this point I'm down for the National Guard to show up en masse at every single Federal facility and sweep these assholes (led by human face-shart Elon Musk) out and straight into prison. Like, literally, get the folks with guns out there working for the people, and station them at all Federal Facilities for, say, a year maybe while all Federal employees come back to their jobs and fix whatever these douches broke.
And if there's no one who isn't in on the Big Coup to direct them to do this, maybe they should become the "organized militia" and take the job on themselves to protect the country and Constitution they vowed to protect.

My fantasy: the judge who issued the injunction against further fund-freezing, which is being blatantly violated, orders Elon to show cause why he should not be held in contempt. Elon refuses to show up at the hearing. The judge sends marshalls with a bench warrant, and in the shootout between the marshalls and Elon's security, Elon is killed resisting arrest. Let the MAGAts explain why that is unacceptable this time.

It seems so. creating unlawful access to individuals’ private data; unelected unauthorized surrogate acting for the president; sequestering funds authorized by Congress; barring members of Congress from entering a government building; massive conflicts of interest; not filing a waiver re: conflicts of interest; directing government employees to act in a way detrimental to individuals, agencies, non-profits, service providers.
