Here's an example of why I have such contempt for the mental powers of the MAGAts. I occasionally look at right-wing sites (on the theory of "know thy enemy"). Today I saw a couple of posts defending Ms. Stevens, in the strongest possible terms and with a clear sense of outrage that anyone would dare disagree. One of the posts referred to her several times as "Hayley"; the other used "Hailey". It doesn't take much to spell a person's name correctly, but they haven't got enough to do even that.
If Stevens or Jared Golden were “punished” for supporting a Repub (Golden endorsing friend Mike Lawler), wouldn’t that be bad until the new Congress is sworn in? Say what you will of them (please, go ahead), but until Jan. 3 it’s single digits for the GOP lead. I wouldn’t want a few last evil bills passed because the shameless trolls are on the way out.
I am SO GODDAMNED SICK of Democratic politicians getting their chops broken over Israel. I am not a citizen of Israel, and I don't elect politicians based on their allegiance to that nation. The USA already has done plenty for Israel. Fucking enough already of Israel and its endless, hopeless problems, most of them caused by Israelis themselves.

I absolutely will break a democrat's chops for providing military aid to Israel. First of all, Israel has forced conscription, which democrats should NEVER EVER support. Second, Israel has one of the most advanced militaries in the world, largely built on our backs. I get that Israel is our ally, but as a US taxpayer, I do not believe our tax dollars should go to paying for another nation to arm themselves. Israel should pay for that itself.
Furthermore, in the past two years, we have seen cuts to American's stipends to cover insurance premiums and SNAP. The money Americans have paid into the government has been taken out of their hands in a time of need and given to Israel to fund its military. Israel needs to pay for its military itself.
