Can you imagine? I sure as fuck can you asshole. I was there. Gay men were shunned, attacked, fired from jobs, ridiculed, and left to die, many of them all alone. All of the friends I made between 1981 when I moved to Dallas and 1995 are dead from AIDS. All of them.

I was in Dallas ft worth for a funeral of a friend who died of aids complication in 1983. I’ll never forget it and the fear and anger of the community.
