The person who 'attacked' him was charged with a misdemeanor so they could bitch about 'no bail' which was a repug talking point at the time (the county DA was on Zeldin's campaign payroll) . The guy they hired as the attacker was a veteran suffering from mental issues. The GOP is just a bunch of the best people.

First, look, I want Ilhan Omar to be deported and denaturalized, but I don’t want her to be attacked or hurt, and people shouldn’t do this sort of thing,” Fine said on Newsmax Wednesday. “But I also blame Ilhan Omar for what happened.”
I am very afraid for Rep Omar and others similar speakers of truth to power. And for sure she needs better security than what she got last night. Her people must be really shaken by this, because this episode could so easily have been so very much worse.
Suggest sending that C-SPAN video to *all* your House Reps and Senators, captioned with “This is how it’s done, not strongly worded letters or kabuki theater hearings that go nowhere.”
It defies common sense to imagine a person would volunteer (or be paid) to physically attack a Congressmember in public. You'll get yourself killed doing that.

I think she’s a fraud. I really don’t think about that. She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her.

Since every accusation is a confession with Trump and every Republican, this means that the two assassination attempts against Trump were, indeed and in fact, staged.
