Who knew that there was political "humor" in Highlights For Children?

It’s humbling whenever I realize I’m far from the smartest person in the room. (It happens a lot). I must admit some of his messages seem reasonable to me. I don’t really know anything about him tho. But I don’t doubt Stephen’s criticism of him. So once again I’m confronted with the reliability of my judgment. I do have the flu tho.

Trump ran as a Republican. To them, being ugly is a feature, not a bug.

Thanks, Governor and Fox News contributor, for the weekly reminder that Republicans just aren't funny.

Not a genius. Mensa said I fell short by two percentage points. I never said Trump would never win. I had a bad feeling that he would.

Trump won in a crowded Republican primary because he wasn't afraid to tap into the anger and racism of the base. The right wing had been smearing the Clintons for twenty years, and Hillary had an uphill battle ahead of her. The 2020 Democratic primary is a completely different situation.

Elizabeth Warren will be the Democratic nominee and elected President in 2020.

I also appreciate sensible moderate positions that Republicans will still reject as socialism. Democrats have a distinguished record of assuming moderate positions will appeal to Republicans and getting laughed at.The repos have long since given up having a platform more sophisticated than "Power for power's sake, oppose the dems at all cost".

(I partly blame Clinton. He was too centrist for the repos but they hated him so they went raging buck wild to the hard hard right). (Which is probably also the soft, soft right, in bed, haha I see what I did there).

Thanks Deval but as a Democrat I don't need saving from Warren. I need saving from bullshit like you're dishing up. Bain is a parasite.

The guy doesn't see wealth as a problem, but he (and remember, he works at Bain) sees greed as the problem. Show of hands, every met someone who was wealthy but obviously not greedy? Percentages?

Or me! :-) I always make my husband his sammitches! And his breakfast, and his dinner. And all other cooking! But that is because when he leaves the kitchen, it looks like the raccoons have been in the pantry.
