Yep. I notice those that say that never tell us who or what we should give up.And exactly who we would gain and where. And why that is better. Or even more votes.Messy are the details.
I voted for Bernie in the primary for exactly that reason. I wanted to improve the Democratic platform. That worked, and I voted for Hillary, like every decent Democrat in the USA.
If I weren't in a state of perpetual exhaustion from living in these Days of Neverending Cascading Shitstorms, I'd say look at the progress we've made when mediocre men of all races can shoehorn themselves into presidential races unnecessarily.
A Patrick run is indeed unnecessary at this point, but let's not be too harsh on the guy. He was a good Guv here in my home state. I mean he makes more sense in the "centrist" lane than the 38 year old mayor of a college town in Indiana, or the 348 year old guy with hair plugs and nice teeth who used to be collegial with segregationists.
I ran this morning at dawn with LuckyDog. We do have the age thing going for us, 67 and 10.
Only lasted 3.5 miles, but that's longer than some cadidates and I had to be at work by 7:30 and he was ready for a big bowl of dog food (with an egg yolk on it this morning - TREAT) and a nap.

Is he running as Cory Booker's understudy?
Oh, just what we need: Mitt Romney sans secret underwear.
I ran last week for 2 hours, but then the phone rang.
"Devalving" Sounds like what Kellyanne Conway does in the Ladies Room.

Deval, buddy, hear that whistle a'blowin? That's the train. It left the station months ago.
