I voted for Bernie in the primary for exactly that reason. I wanted to improve the Democratic platform. That worked, and I voted for Hillary, like every decent Democrat in the USA.

A Patrick run is indeed unnecessary at this point, but let's not be too harsh on the guy. He was a good Guv here in my home state. I mean he makes more sense in the "centrist" lane than the 38 year old mayor of a college town in Indiana, or the 348 year old guy with hair plugs and nice teeth who used to be collegial with segregationists.

I ran this morning at dawn with LuckyDog. We do have the age thing going for us, 67 and 10.

Only lasted 3.5 miles, but that's longer than some cadidates and I had to be at work by 7:30 and he was ready for a big bowl of dog food (with an egg yolk on it this morning - TREAT) and a nap.
