It's not just in California. In a village about ten minutes from me, a mini-tornado came through and damaged about fifty buildings, some cars, and knocked the stone steeple off and into the nave of the church. The blue/black thing on the house at 1:13 is a trampoline that was thrown up and into the roof.
Thank goodness no one was hurt. The storm continued down to the southwest. My electricity went out for a few minutes, and I had no idea that it had happened until this morning when the road was closed as I tried to traverse the town.
That’s how it appears. Nunes’ lawyer sued the newspaper for defamation for asserting that the Nunes farm hires illegal and therefore likely underpaid (and undertaxed) immigrants. From what I’ve read, it’s pretty common in large farming operations to involve immigrant labor. Often, some of those people are not fully legal. The newspaper probably had more than a hunch that this was the case on the Nunes farm, but even if they just guessed, they had a fair chance at being right, if the practice is as common as I’ve read. So, it’s not defamation unless it’s false, and unless it’s harmful to the person or entity’s reputation. In reality, no wingnuts care who Nunes farm hires. Dems hate Nunes no matter what, for far better reasons. But Nunes must prove the allegation is untrue, which requires actual proof that the employees are all legal. That’s why the depositions went all wonky. Because somebody doesn’t want the employees to testify.
I'm pretty sure Jennifer owns a LandRoverRangeRoverMclaren f1 that she bought for $16,874 that she earned in just two weeks and you can too with Google its so easy....

That's unfair! Republicans can't be rule-breakers, because rules don't apply to Republicans.
Hell, these guys are exceptionally smart for Republicans.
What issue was she in?

It's nice to learn about that jerk-off's come-uppance. He had definitely dropped off the radar. Thanks for the update! What a colossal fraud.
I see another Nunes lawsuit swirling down the toilet bowl. These people are truly awful.
There is just enough to reach the fire

The older I get, the easier it becomes to get lost in the pronouns.
