Start helping voter registration movements. That's our best bet right now. Until the institutions of our nation actually fail, we work them hard. If they figure out how to suspend elections in November, we march on the capital. I'm too old to go all "Red Dawn" and play soldier in the hills, but if I have to start getting arrested for protesting I can handle that. .
I'm only in my 40's yet I believe the damage and corruption being introduced into our government in a scant 3 years will take well beyond my lifetime to fix. And that's if I live to be 110.
This type of comments surprise me. Except for actual changes to the physical world - like oil spills - it seems to me we just have to repeal stooopid law changes like that tax cut for the very rich. There are lots of good, talented, honest people out there; just check Obama's employee list and new ones graduate every December and May. The judges are a problem; but to me the big problems are on the state level, and The Dotard has done most of his fucking up on the federal level.
No, I am not complacent. I am eager for next January when a Dem Senate, House and Prez can start the cleanup.
There is very little that can be done about the dozens of unqualified ideologues being stuffed into the judicial branch by the Senate like 10 pounds of shit into a 5 pound bag. If RBG dies or retires under Trump, SCOTUS is going to be The Heritage Foundation in robes.
Ta, Liz. I am not looking forward to living the rest of my life (long may it continue) watching Trump's judiciary fuck up everything good we have left.

Also too, someone might have actually paid attention to the PDB that stated, "Bin Laden determined to strike US."

It's odd, for 8 years it seemed like Republicans were screaming about how awful it was that executive orders existed.
It’s time for Anita Hill to share her drunk-dialed phone message from Mrs. Judge Thomas with some D-oriented ad agency.

Lol not sure I want more people to vote where I live since 80% of them voted for Hair Furor.
I think my husband might still be willing to go Red Dawn.
You mean the guy Obama should have jailed for that private server in his DIA office? THAT Lt. Gen Flynn?
