Seeing as how the ad was from Ugyur's PAC, it was likely antisemitic. That's his jam. Always has been.

That said, no one forced Stevens to do anything. This spectacular implosion is all on her.

And AES had already denounced it prior to Stevens making more demands, basically that he renounce his entire platform on Israel. He said, "Nah. That's what the primary was for."

I voted. Then I saw our local state rep and told him right to his face that the property tax problem is because he is not doing his damn job. In those words.

(State Constitution requires the state to fully fund public education, as defined & further required by state supreme court years ago, and yet still not done by conservative legeslature, resulting in towns having higher property taxes. Now they are presenting a law so towns can cap the school taxes. Anything but raise the money for public schools.)

As long as Haley Stevens is unhappy, I'm happy.

Thanks Robyn. Your analysis here is spot on!

Well, Bret Stephens at the NY Times is particularly incensed about that ad. "How dare you peons complain about healthcare?" He can't for the life of him see why Americans would be pissed, especially now, that Isrealis get universal healthcare, while we fund their military and have to pay $75 co-pays. That's what you get when you live in an elite bubble.

Stevens accepted money from AIPAC. It takes a rare moral person to say no to the donors of millions of dollars, when the donor absolutely does not want someone to be in the senate.

A person's true character shows when they lose. Haley's winning streak came to an end, and she's blaming and punishing everyone for it.

We had that poster in our kitchen. Also: War is not healthy for children and other living things.

She's got a bright future in cartoon voice acting.

"...it was even possible now to be “a Democrat in good standing and still believe that we should be in an open alliance with Israel?” ..."

Haley Stevens is no longer a Democrat in good standing, and probably wasn't all that much before she betrayed the party.

You failed to mention that her finance announced he would support Rogers a few days before Haley did. I’m going with the boyfriend theory.

Mallory McMorrow did an interview yesterday ( cant remember where) where she said that regular folk were seeing the Haley that local politicians already knew

Is it just me, or is her head shaped like a cube? I can't unsee it.

And while I lurve J.B. Pritzger, is there a separated-at-birth thing going on?

In the picture they chose for her remote interview with Jennings her right cheek looks like she's been slapped in the face. Did Jennings' people shop that, or is that the pic she supplied? Or is she just really bad at applying blush?

Regarding the c-word: I am shocked and dismayed that no one has yet to post the song by Nazareth subtitled "A suitable case for treatment", and I pray that the reason isn't due to latent bias because the band is (whispers)... Scottish.

You know, I agree with Haley on this. I’m sure all her concerns are genuine and not a result of outside manipulation or deep-rooted insecurities.

And you know what else I hate? The reboot of Ranma 1/2, where the main male protagonist turns into a girl when he’s splashed with cold water. Imagine how ridiculous that is; if something so simple could cause such a change… I mean, it would finally fulfill my mother’s constant wish for a daughter after having all sons…

Seriously, whole generations have grown up loving that anime and similar gender-fluid material and no one really cared until the MAGA sickos decided to exploit a transphobia terror
