I knew, or at least met, both Woodward and Bernstein possibly before they met each other. Woodward worked for my county paper and Bernstein covered my county for the Post.

We had a plaque designating one teacher hangout as the memorial room for a Superintendent of Schools who was fired after only months on the job with no reason given out. Was made by a shop teacher. Sarcasm people! Sarcasm! (We thought it likely he hadn't been offed as yet, but you never know.)

Definitely on-topic about 1/20: I'm working on a large scale painting with the words of Amanda Gorman:

"Being American is not a pride we inherit.It's the past we step into, and how we repair it."

It's interesting doing a large painting with words on it. You have to think carefully about every single letter. And this goofy Yellow Lab cried while painting PRIDE WE INHERIT. So much truth packed into so few words.
