By not a coincidence, I briefly "spoke" to a guy on Facesbook who told me that yes indeedy, he backed trump because "he'll deal with you libs," and that when it came to women he "liked donny's his style. Revenge and control. That's ALL it's about.

And, women can have their birth control covered by insurance, provided the birth control is not used by the woman for her pleasure, but only with proof it's being used for medical reasons.

Seems like a good time for a friendly reminder: Every Republican accusation is a confession.

It really is disturbing that so many people are will hurt so many others on purpose. Just think how wealthy everyone would be, houses, well fed, well-educated, and safe if people actually worked together in their communities, and quit squabbling what god you believe in, how deep the melanin in your skin was, and asked a stranger what gifts he or she brought to the community. According to the historian William H. McNiell, this is what us up through the ages (between the wars, of course). We are so dumb to be squabbling over appearances, real and imagined that we miss the bigger picture: That if we actually worked together everybody would be better off. EVERYBODY. This is why we cannot have the peace we seek. I am not talking about a utopia, I am talking about just working together to make things better. It can be done

I think it's on the mark to suggest that for the right, it really is all about "hurting the right people." What they want is the unquestioned right to tell you, me, and everyone else what to believe and how to live, and punish us all, or eliminate us outright, if we don't comply. Others, of course, do not have the right to tell THEM anything at all. These people are the raw material of fascism. They're like putty in the hands of would-be dictators who channel their fear, hatred, and rage.

The first time I saw ''they were sick and tired of “SJWs”'', I had not seen that abbreviation since the good old days of the original print edition of The Village Voice in the ''Personals'' where SJW meant Single Jewish Woman. And I guess that they would hate them was not surprising at all...

May have said it before but it can't be said enough, everyone needs to read "Men Who Hate Women: The Extremism Nobody is Talking About - From incels to pickup artists, the truth about extreme misogyny and how it affects us all" by Laura Bates. Men like Tate have far too much influence and the (not far anymore) Right giving him a platform and legitimizing and normalizing his behavior is beyond reprehensible.

Then there's the men who continue to whine "Why can't men compliment women anymore in the workplace...?" I had a HUGE argument with one of those the other day.

Robyn, I don’t know how you can stand even writing about this stuff. I feel sick on your behalf.

May Tate enjoy a long spell in Romanian prison followed by bonus extradition to any other country where he’s been pimping out women. Allegedly. You know, how it’s alleged but you film yourself bragging about it and put it on your grift scheme website? That kind of alleged.

Quick question for Ms. Owens. Would she spend any time alone with Andrew Tate?

I think she's probably too old for him. But would she let her daughter spend any time alone with Andrew Tate, I wonder?

An his acts, they filled the mouths of the multitude with vomit, and they turned away their faces in scorn.

Unfortunately the more relevant scripture about his multitude appears to be:

Proverbs 26:11 "As a dog returneth to his vomit, So a fool returneth to his folly."

I was always fond of the book of Revulsions, what with the talking shit about Lot having sex with his own daughters ("Lo, and the Angels of the Lord looked down upon him and cried out with one voice: 'Ew, gross!'") and whatnot.

Paul's the guy who always turns out to have said the shitty thing, when I ask 'show me where Jesus ever said anything bad about gays or ...." It turns out to be Paul, but when I say well that wasn't Jesus at all, they act like it makes no difference who said it. See Paul's on their team but-- Jesus just isn't.

The right have never cared for anything other than themselves and what they want.

And that's really the most concise summary of what they are.

Yeah, I just had a one-to-one conversation with a woman who told me her company was Christian based (I told her if someone needs to tell me they are Christian they are not living right) and then more about her marketing firm. Next she told me she (she's a widow) and her boyfriend and his adult kids are going to Cozumel in a couple of weeks. I thought, but did not say, do you know what fornicating means?

I would've just said ''do you know what Cozumel means?''...
