Yeah. That is probably why the Secret Service uses the presidential limo to take Obama from one side of the street to the other. Less risk from local police that way.

The current popular charge seems to be "resisting arrest" for anyone who doesn't show enough respect. If I were a judge, I would require officers to take remedial english classes if they brought a defendant before me charged with resisting arrest but nothing else.

He had to commit some crime you were arresting him for before he could resist. Treating you disrespectfully isn't a crime. You have to earn respect, it isn't an epaulet on your damned uniform.

I didn't know being nice to assholes was an involuntarily choice, but I will respond. In the context that I'm using it given everything quoted in this article that he said, that name is quite apt, especially with his hypocrisy while kinda sorta jailed and not being used as someone's tube sock in for really realz jail.
