I'm not sure what this says about me, but when my sleep-bleary eyes first looked at this morning's tab, what I saw was a time-lapse of a decaying pear.
The Guinea Pig gif is everything. I have dogs, cats, birds, ducks, chickens, and guinea pigs all as pets. Guinea Pigs are highly underrated as pets. They are simply wonderful.
The EV's are going to win story by Noah is excellent. He's got charts and color coded graphs and plenty of numbers to make his point. The world moves forward, technology marches on and the EV's turn in the drivers seat is here. It's happening, the only question is , who's gonna make money? The comments are a hoot. All the naysayers come out in droves to complain about EVs and all the potential problems, if you actually had one.. The hypothetical scenarios, on the road issues or geopolitically, people make up to convince themselves they don't want or can't possibly use an EV are pretty elaborate. No complaints from people who actually own EV's though.
The story of Betty Cartledge made me cry. She reminded me of my great grandmother. She was born a girl in 1898 (her original birth papers burned that might not be the correct year) she could not read or write. She also couldn’t vote until she was in her 60’s, she also couldn’t read or write. In my great grandmother’s case she lived in a colony that was not independent or a republic until the 1960’s so nobody could vote for our government in Trinidad. When we got our independence and we became a republic she would take one of her kids or one of her grandchildren and they would help her vote. I always feel sorry that she couldn’t read because she would sit with her bible in her lap and looked at the pages and she couldn’t read it. Good for Betty she got to vote I wish she had support to do that before her husband died.
If we're going to talk about the economy - AND WE SHOULD - here are some statistics that show the economy ALWAYS performs better under Democratic presidents:
NET JOB CREATION OVER THE LAST FIFTY YEARS
1. Bill Clinton - 22.7 million (8 years)
2. Ronald Reagan - 16.3 million (8 years)
3. Joe Biden - 13.4 million (4 years)
4. Barack Obama - 11.6 million (8 years)
5. Jimmy Carter - 10.1 million (4 years)
6. George H. W. Bush - 2.6 million (4 years)
7. George W. Bush - 0.5 million (8 years)
8. Donald Trump - (2.7) million - (4 years)
How about we add all those together and see how each party performed?
DEMOCRATS - 57,800,000 (24 years)
REPUBLICANS - 16,700,000 (24 years)
The Democratic presidents outperformed the Republican presidents on job growth by ***246%***
Now, ranked by party (adding all percentages and dividing by number of presidents):
DEMOCRATS - 2.83%
REPUBLICANS - 2.5%
The Democratic presidents outperformed the Republican presidents by ***12%*** (honestly way closer than I thought it would be but still proves Democratic presidents are better for the economy than Republican presidents).
Also too speaking of Medicare Advantage be aware that if your provider becomes an "ACO" (accountable care organization, or anything that remotely sounds like that, they do try to hide it with other mantles) you may find yourself booted out of traditional Medicare and all of a sudden in a restricted network and they don't even have to let you know.
"Medicare Advantage is very bad! Probably don’t do it!"
That is a pretty flippant and irresponsible thing to put out here. I use Medicare Advantage through United Health Care. It covers doctor visits and medications that Medicare alone does not. There are a lot of options out there and it behooves people to look into them rather than just take a "don't do it" recommendation.
I see it like school vouchers. Advantage takes money out of the Medicare system the way school vouchers take money from less affluent public school systems. We really need to fix both of those systems. Universal education and health care.
Another family attributed their child’s gender dysphoria to manga, Japanese comics, stating, “A. got into manga and other books that influenced her to see herself as a gay ‘boy,’ and that led her to believe she could actually be a boy. During this time, A. went from being a bright and winsome child, a ‘spontaneous light in the room,’ to a child with frequent dark and sullen moods.”
until he started showering him with gold doubloons
mebbe we could avoid the word shower for a week or two? Now all I can imagine is that in addition to his Eleven Wood, Arnold Palmer had gold dubloons dangling in his coinpurse instead of regular testicles.
I've never had strep or Lyme so now I know it's all the fault of Speed Racer. Say didn't the Wachowskis make a Speed Racer movie? It all fits, man! *throws red string everywhere*

Bat pig isn't just a pet
Fuzzy, sweet and fat

Me, too.
I first saw a .gif of a worm crawling out of a decaying pear. And I thought, "Oh, a nice picture of Donald Trump."
Nah, just a cute guinea pig.
Strobe effects...
Oh, I cannot tell you how happy I am to have read this.
𝘓𝘢𝘴𝘵 year's costume...
Double, double "WHEEK!" and trouble. Fire burn and caldron bubble?
Batpig is both spooky and cute! Halloween can be a fun holiday, and is for most people, and some of their pets.
Do like bat piggies.

I knew about the 82 year old 1st time voter, but hadn't heard she's unable to read or write - I'm tearing up.
Golden Doubloon Showering?

BINGO!!!
Who would guess that a literal criminal on the field would love rapists and be sad when people boo them. Motherfucker should have gone to jail.

It may need to be fixed, but right now it helps people, so telling them to blow it off is irresponsible.
