Biden's butler will remove trump on Jan 20. if he is still there.

I think Cohen may be correct. Trump will leave and go to mar a lago for Christmans and not come back.

My guess is that they're in charge of running the shredders for the next 69 days.

Since he f****d the USPS, I'd like Postal Inspectors to do the job, if needed. I work in direct mail and we have postal techs in bldg. daily.

Because as the article says, short-time political appointees can give all the orders they like. The brass and ranks both now hate him.

Maybe he can get ICE....

You know, they do run a mean detention camp, but they are light on heavy ordnance. Spirit willing, flesh weak.

See, here's the problem with that scenario.

First, not only were the SA still out in the streets, the fascists had control of the police and prosecutors nationally and locally. Republican stooges are not in charge of Detroit, Philly, and most of Federal coercive power.

Second, the army was never under civilian control, but answered only to the Kaiser. It had pursued its own "Black Reichswehr" plan post-Versailles -- secret work on subs, tanks, and planes, as well as formal inclusion of various rightist paramilitaries in expansion plans.

Further, It's counter-revolutionary post-Armistice Freikorps produced many later fascist leaders and conservative militarists. The SA figured in the Order of Battle drawn up locally in Munich, prior to the Beer Hall Putsch.

Not happening here. Absent a prior revolution, decades of political violence, producing a totally and a very different military and political environment.

PS -- This does not necessarily preclude them from doing something stupid and destructive, but they won't keep power. Former scary, latter reassuring, somewhat. Maybe scotch will help.

"Will Mr Michael Ellis please go straight to the manager's office..."

He posted knowingly... Say no more!

The military values hierarchy, stability, reliability and order. The Donald is none of those things.

Would they be smart enough, or informed enough, to know they were not getting the good dope? Vindman would, but they got rid of him. And he's the sort who might play along with keeping Cadet Bonespurs in the dark.

If I were gonna do crimes, I'd fleece a certain type of rube, with a mixture of (watered down) down-home Old Tyme Religion and New Age psychobabble. Flaky old money, sophisticated hayseed nouveaux riche, spiritual types that don't like mainline Christianity but for whom Buddhism is too much of a stretch.

Keeping in character could be tough though, laughing at them all the time to myself.

I'll take petty revenge for disloyalty -- and definitely the over.

He'll be on the golf course when a couple of military officers tell him to hand over that plastic card he carries at all times so that he can fire the missiles.

He might even do it, happy to be rid of it.

That would be fine with me.

OR Trump is firing these people because he’s in a snit, and the Watnick and Ellis and the other one are just the people he keeps around to shove into positions that are vacant because of his snit-firings. They are that same substitute teacher who always turns up. AND they are young and inexperienced so Trump doesn’t feel insecure around them. Also too the ass-kissing.
