I've been supporting SPLC a little bit over the years. I tried to donate again this morning, but couldn't get past their captcha BS. Guys, I was tryna give YOU money!
The DOJ's lawfare against SPLC just reaffirms the value of every donation I've made to the group for the past few decades. Looks like I'm doing it right.
In Trumpworld everything is opposite. Up is down, left id right, black is white. Well, except maybe not for the part. It's where the equal opportunity commission is looking for WHITE discrimination. the FCC wants to promote more reactionary right wing talk and it's Democrats who want to burn the house down and not the Republicans.
As an ex-prosecutor, this sounds to me like the kind of case that requires extensive document evidence that has to be authenticated. It takes deep research and attention to detail. This is the precise kind of case that our current DOJ is utterly incapable of pursuing, so don't worry. The only thing that bothers me is that no one will ever face sanctions for filing this flaming horseshit.

The only argument that I have with the SPLC is that on their TV ads they use "We Shall Overcome" except it's sung real slow and drawn-out so that it's "We Shall Ove-rrr Com - awom-awom-mmme"
and the tune is all distorted instead of using the good-old time-tested Joan Baez version. It is almost as bad the newish "Heinz Ketchup" ads with Etta James' "At Last" - but a different version than Buick used years ago - and all that people would really prefer is the old "Anticipation" ads with Carly Simon anyway.
