To be honest, we are not sure why Jill Stein is doing recounts in the "blue wall" states, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan, all of which Donald Trump (ALLEGEDLY!) won in little squeaker races. Is she trying to save her soul, because she knows deep down that she may have ruined America by siphoning votes from Hillary?
Perhaps he wants to distract attention from the grotesque conflict of interest represented by not placing his assets in a blind trust, and having his children (who are allegedly running his businesses) sit in on high-level conferences where highly confidential information is presented.
Or perhaps he is continuing his tradition of burying us in so many lies that we don't hold him accountable for real issues, like his strong attachment to Putin's Russia.
Why on earth would Democrats bother doing voter fraud in California? It's gone Democratic by big comfy margins for decades. That'd be like Republicans trying to squeeze more votes out of Utah.

well, his administration is slightly delegitmized by the popular vote. but i do have a problem with undermining the structure of democracy.
take a look at italy right now. the italian government has been stealing money for decades. read la casta - there's a lot of bad shit going on. but now there's a referendum about giving more power to the central government. they're framing it as "no" being a win for populism which was boosted by trump's election. Probably, people are going to vote no. And I can't say I disagree, but at the same time it's horrific because it empowers the racists. And it's sad that people like Grillo are siding with them - again, I get it, I get that Italian government is corrupt - but when it comes to government versus nationalism, I vote in favour of government. I vote in favour of sanity. And if nothing is detected in the recount, I vote in favour of accepting our horrible fate and spending every day fighting for decency. We might be able to fight the horrible things he's trying to do. But if we allow the system to be overthrown, we have nothing left. They've fucked the system up and we need to fight back. We need to work on the local and state levels to get people in place for the 2020 census to drive back the gerrymandering. We need to have a chance at the house - it's absurd that it's so out of reach for us. But we need to work with the system as they've done instead of saying we hate the system. It's not my favourite. I'd prefer proportional voting parliamentary. But it's what we have and it's not going away.
