Your country is so screwed, when is the sane half going to secede from the crazy half?

Investing in Trump is riskier than investing in either Bitcoin or Beanie Babies, but it sure payed off in a big way for Pam Bondi.

""Trump is a disruptor, but he has a long-term vision because I absolutely believe in the marrow of my bones that he will be our nominee in 2024. He'll come back to us. We'll have a sweeping victory in 2022, and he'll lead us in 2024."

But isn't Trump the current real president? Come 2024 he will be term limited.

"“He'll come back to us!" This is pathetic but slightly amusing if you imagine House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy freaking out over the possibility that Trump will swipe the speaker's gavel from him."

I was laughing my ass off all weekend imagining Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy just rolling over and letting Trump be Speaker of the House. That should TOTALLY be a plan that they are DTF with. What could possibly go wrong?

Also, I love the delusion that the MAGAts have that their hated leader will somehow inspire a landslide win in the House...you know, like he did in 2018.

There is a good possibility we'll lose the House, and possibly the Senate, but not in any sort of landslide.

I still hope someone with the cash to pull it off, maybe George Soros, maybe This Week Tonight, builds a Truman-show White House set and hires actors to "reinstate the President," and then we get to watch Dumb D*nald living his "best life" interacting with all kinds of improv comedians. Just the Sir Story opportunities alone would be fucking hilarious.

Now THAT would be "great teevee," Jason.
