Good point. Even with Koch's businesses and suitably set up Republicans laundering Russian money, it's a lot less valuable than it was before the sanctions. One more reason some Repubs vote against them.

Or like a man I knew (my husband) who was hunting-- everybody around him , was always shooting things. He shot a dove. He picked it up and he thought, "What have I done this for?" He carried it away with him and away from everyone to get away. People are always failing to react because of the consensus of everybody around them. Esp. genial guys like Reagan were powerful that way. Though he was the world's phoniest guy.
