Trump and Rethugs continue to loot the treasury, and steal the furniture and window coverings as they head out the door. A version of Russia's scorched earth tactic in WWII. They figure they'll break so much stuff, the Dems will spend all their time fixing it (like Bush financial meltdown as Obama came in). Dems will spend time releasing Trump's taxes and Barr's shenanigans before indictments.
If by purge you mean indict, convict and imprison then yes. What I’m worried about is that while trumpkins can be removed, the institutional damage they’ve caused will take much longer to repair. If it can be repaired.
Right. Every country in the world will think if the U.S. did it once, we can do the same thing again. The world will continue to slowly pull away from U.S. control after seeing Trump extort even our allies to push through his regressive and stupid policies, like tearing up the multinational agreement with Iran, or pulling out of the Paris Accords on climate change and the Trans Pacific Partnership. The last one continuing without the US, which made the TPP a weaker counterbalance to China and left America out of an important alliance with several countries on the Pacific Rim, from Japan, Vietnam, and Australia to Canada, Mexico, Chile, and Peru.
But whose truth? During the US invasion of Iraq, I would watch CBS News from the United States and Canal Onze (Mexico's Politechnical Institute channel) ... very, very different coverage of the same exact attacks. A state run media is going to reflect the "truth" of its owners, not some Platonic truth.
Oh, I completely agree. I just think of propaganda as largely false.
If you asked me if these stations are slanted heavily for a pro-USA bias, I would completely agree. They aren't neutral at all, and I'm not proposing that they adhere to some observer-independent version of the truth. Just that they are unlikely to lie blatantly as they used to do.
Trump Hotel commercials.

Make America More Like the Stalin-era Soviet Union Again
God, I miss those guys and being that young.
Oof!
Can we get the promise of a SWAT team breaking down the doors and gunning everyone down in a welter of blood? Now, that would be a memorable wedding!
That's mostly because there's less fuckup than expected.
So are these guys in Yes this year?
Is it possible for any media outlet NOT to reflect the biases of its owners?

The Voice of London is coming soon!

I have to start wearing padding on my head for all the times it hits the desk.
The good news, all those people can be rehired in January.
