Whatever "tax break" that people are getting can't be really sorted out until their 2018 taxes are filed. Maybe they've just had their withholdings reduced now so they'll get some more take-home pay now, but less of a refund or have to pay more next year when they file. Are there Wonksters with decent knowledge of middle earner income tax situations who could share an informed opinion?
