No, none of those things. Colorado chile isn't even native to the state.

Who claimed it was native? I must have missed the report of when the great culinary minds of our time got together and determined that food can only be good if it's native to the area it's produced.

Colorado itself is a Spanish word.

My Spousal Unit just disagreed with my suggestion to post this sign in our front yard. We live in an 80%+ Hispanic (primarily Mexican) neighborhood. Ah well.

I was referring ti his testimony in 1993, wherein he declared "... they don’t look like Indians to me, and they don’t look like Indians. Now maybe we say politically correct or not politically correct. They don’t look like Indians to me..."

I never understood the Tuesday Taco thing. We eat tacos here whenever we damn well feel like it.

In business and government closings, Interstate closings and and enormous police presence, Albuquerque will be at least $10,000,000 in the hole for the "priviledge" of hosting him. We'll never see a penny of it.Cities should just refuse to do any of this and force them to call out the National Guard wherever he goes.

The state pastry of PA?

ROFL. If by "sad joke" you mean hotter, sweeter and thicker, sure.

Actually, that's wrong. "Spanish" refers to the language.

"Hispanic" (after Hispania, the Latin name for the Iberian peninsula) refers to people who have descended from people from there.

"Latino" refers to the subset of those people who live in the Americas, but not in Europe or elsewhere. It also tends to include "mestizos" - that is mixed race people between Europeans and the native people of the Americas.

People from Spain could be referred to as Hispanic, but Latino would be inaccurate.
