41 deaths THAT WE KNOW OF. For instance, there were a couple thousand people who just "disappeared" from Alligator Alcatraz, and we have no idea what happened to them. The final death toll is going to be much, much higher.

It’d be a shame if local & state governments started open-ended road “construction” projects that effectively blockaded access to these concentration camps.

Rand Paul says he's a no vote on Mullin. But Fetterman says he wants to give Mullin a chance so he miiiight get out of committee anyway.

G-7 in Space's avatar

Fetterman should fuck off into the Sun. Seriously- Chuckles should take him for a walk and say, "Wake up or we're kicking you out."

So, MSM, can you remind me again how Joe Biden screwed up our withdrawal from Afghanistan?

(Since we have to keep reminding YOU lickspittles that it was TACO that royally fucked it up?)

Rhand Holm's avatar

It's simple. Dems are responsible for cleaning up R's messes.

Caepan's avatar

Then get no credit when they do it.

Rhand Holm's avatar

Sort of, Dems get blamed for not supporting R initiatives. Then get blamed for

causing the mess created by R's. Then blamed again for not cleaning up the mess quickly enough. Finally, Dems get blamed for the lasting effects/reverberations for decades to come. In short, only Democrats have agency.

I watched a few minutes of Markwayne's confirmation hearing. Mullin won't give a straight answer.

Question: Will you obey the law?

Markwayne: I will obey the Constitution

Question: If the president asks you to violate the law, will you do so?

Markwayne: I don't believe the President would do that.

Rhand Holm's avatar

Well, gee, those are tough questions. I would have stuck to easier ones like "Yes or no. Does you dad know you have intercourse with sheep?"

If I was still a believer I’d say these assholes are followers of the Antichrist, but they’re not, they’re just fucked up people, look at the people who supported Hitler or Pinochet, Stalin, any of them: not Antichrists, just fucking evil.

Ron Spangler's avatar

To say "Trump did ..." in regards to any of this is to imply that he knows or cares what Miller is doing in his name. He does not, and to suggest he does, in a way, elevateds him to an actual - if evil - policy maker. He isn't. A policy maker, that is.

As long as he doesn't have to do any work, and it keeps the base happy, Trump's a-ok with the fascism that his minions do. He himself hasn't done shit. He's a fucking idiot.

Florida is a tough place to make a living for regular people.

Most of Florida's money comes from somewhere else, not Florida.

Retired people made their money in some other state. SS and Medicare

is from gubmint.

Military people money is from gubmint. So is Space stuff.

Tourist bidness is nearly all from people's money is from somewhere else.

Education money is borrowed money. Mostly debt.

Agriculture provides some local money, but who works at that?

Can we even buy alligator shoes anymore?

After hurricanes, whose money they use to rebuild ?

Nearly all Florida's money is discretionary spending.

Every piece of it can be turned off at the drop of a hat.

Even if you ain't wearing a hat.

Never forget, this is what millions of Americans wanted to see happen. They wanted the cruelty and torment, they wanted the ethnic cleansing. The pricktator promised it, and the voters wanted it. That's why they gave an ethnonationalist, racist, transnational criminal syndicate unitary control of government; they want to see immigrants tormented and removed.

And they want to see liberals hurt...that's one reason they are fine with the low-rent Sturmabteilung sieging Democratic cities.
