Last weekend you might have wondered, "why, pray tell, had the L.A. NAACP recognized 'humanitarian' Clippers owner Donald Sterling even as he was being sued for racial discrimination against people of color?" Yesterday, Buzzfeed gave us the answer, in the form of HOLY SHIT THIS GRIFTY LOCAL NAACP PRESIDENT.
Any high school grad with a pulse could've wrecked their reputation for free (as a volunteer). They elected a guy with this history, and apparently let him run wild. This negligence is bad for all the other chapters too.
If only that chapter had some other people responsible for oversight, to whom Jenkins would've been accountable. Maybe some kind of board...
Sterling's contributions moved him...to a higher tax bracket. And isn't all that really matters, ladies and gentlement?
