They’re still sticking to their story because they cannot tolerate the possibility they could be wrong. The more unlikely it gets, the more evidence which shows they are batshit crazy, the harder they cling to their fantasies. Even unto their own death or the death of those they love. WTF is wrong with people? Apart from the mask wearing all of the terrible "freedom robbing" restrictions are things I have been doing all of my life. Things my grandmother taught me 70 years ago. Frequent thorough hand washing was a big deal,. Take your shoes off and clean them before you come in the house. Wear coveralls when you're working outside take them off an hang them on the rack before you come in the house. Don't get too close to people you don't know especially if you hear them coughing or sneezing She grew up in a time before vaccines and antibiotics and contagious diseases could turn lethal pretty quick. She had a brother who didn't clean out a cut on his hand and died of what they called "blood poisoning two weeks later. Children died from scarlet fever and whooping cough not infrequently
I can't believe adult people who want to act like bad eight year olds, free to pick their noses and scratch their asses and wash their hands no more than twice a week. That's not freedom, it's just dirty habits and stupidity

Then, they were exposed. They got flu-like symptoms, which rapidly advanced to respiratory problems and overcrowded hospitals. Many, many MAGA skeptics died scared, filled with regret and helpless to undo their behavior.
Some died refusing conventional medicine, or insisting on ineffective treatments like Ivermectin. They wanted to do it their way.
Hantavirus can be even harder to treat. Hopefully we won’t have to go through that again. We have enough problems thanks to the current regime.
