I see a truck owned by an excavating company, not an oil company. That said,it is small brain dickery nontheless. I don't believe shaming works with small brains. Flooding their Google and Yelp reviews with the above photo and comments might cause some financial distress. It might cause the owner to question an employees representation of his company. Hard to say. A cursory web search based on company name on the truck and a PA license plate suggests this is the owner is BW Smith excavating at 10811 Rte 66 in Clarion PA. Phone 814-764-5425. A phone call might be in order.

Empirical evidence proves it. Just check the sugar content of each gasoline vehicle blocking charging stations (uhm, do you mind looking the other way for 10 minutes? Thanks.) It doesn't get more sciencey than empirical evidence!

I heard about this for the first time several months ago and it seemed unbelievable. Now that Jamie has provided more detail it no longer seems unbelievable, just inhuman. How can people be so completely fucked up?

Steven Donziger has always said that Kaplan was biased, and there were many who laughed at him for saying it. But a judge who issues an order for a lawyer to hand over all his electronic devices, charges him with contempt while he appeals the order, instigates his own prosecution when the state declines and hires an expensive private law firm with ties to Chevron at tax payers expense. Biased, unethical and probably illegal. The RICO judgement is unsafe and should be independently investigated.

Maybe someone's already pointed this out, but, like, Martin Garbus didn't get mentioned in "The Big Lebowski," Ron Kuby did. Just so, like, the record's clear, man.
