I have made mistakes in my life too, Doctor Birx. So I can try to empathize with your plight. To date not one of my mistakes has resulted in killing 130,000 other people. So please forgive me if it takes me awhile to give a shit about anything you have to say. I'll keep trying as long as you keep running your mouth. But you should know that sometimes I get distracted from the task of empathizing with you by a photo of a kitty or a nice time video clip of a happy baby goat.

I hope Randy has found a new gig. He brought me a lot of joy during the TFG years.

My mom developed acute pancreatitis 2 weeks ago and was admitted to local rural hospital, which really couldn’t do much except give her pain meds. It took her another week to be seen at larger hospital for actual treatment, because the larger hospital simply didn’t have any beds available - mostly because they were overwhelmed with COVID patients.

I’m thankful she did finally get the necessary treatment and is doing much better. Still angry it took so long for her to get adequate treatment because of morons who refuse to get vaccinated.

Yes. Some of us have met ladies like her before.

You would think that an early-morning appointment would give you a greater likelihood of timely service. You would be wrong.

I’m still super thrilled with the handyman who showed up - on time - to free my boy kitteh after he’d barricaded himself in the master bathroom last week. I’m currently making him a long list of fixes I need done around the house.

ETA: you do right by me and you’ve got a customer for life. That’s why I’ve had the same vet for 25 years, same hairdresser for 20 years, and the same nail technician for 13 years.

I had JUST managed to forget about meatball, and then you go and make me think about him again! Sigh.

I would also venture (as an employment attorney) that the death knell to unions had a lot to do with states enacting “right to work” laws. A lot of people get this confused with at-will employment, which isn’t the same at all. In RTW states, a worker can receive all the advantages of collective bargaining between the union and the employer. However, RTW laws means those workers don’t have to pay union dues if they don’t want to. The end result is that unions in RTW states don’t have enough dues-paying members to fund the unions, so they die off.

I'm going to keep repeating it until it comes true: New triage rules: First is everyone who has been fully vaccinated, even the ones with just hangnails.

Last, repeat LAST is anyone (eligible) who is NOT fully vaccinated, even if they have major limbs falling off their bodies.

To be implemented by hospital administrators and emergency dispatchers who don't have the Hippocratic Oath preventing them from doing what is right.

No patience, no empathy, no fucking quarter.

I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic (it can be REALLY hard to tell these days), but Tish James is vastly superior to Pam Bondi.

At least Alex was nice enough not to specifically name the person who should be shamed. He’s a better person than I.

Birx was in no way the person to be up front for the country during a pandemic ... bc The Orange Confederate Scalp Reduced Bankrupt Fascist Nazi Traitor Molester POS Grand Kleegle pushed her around on stage- she had no answer for that ... Fauci is a brooklyn born street ball player, don't expect everyone to have stones like that in the face of PURE FASCISM.

Orange Confederate WANTED nothing but D-Listers around him, all insecure scalp reduction victims are like that ... and now Traitors Wolfie and Cucie Cucie have to TESTIFY

I remember this, because it was the exact moment I lost any faith in Dr. Birx.

To be fair, Dr. Fauci made a number of incorrect statements from the outset, which he corrected as more information became available. But he never praised TFG like Birx did.
