A friend of ours just had a longish hospital stay and surgery here in Spain. They said their room was like a hotel room with a hospital bed, because the hospital caters to medical tourists.
People can actually travel to Europe, get a hip replacement and stay long enough to recover for less than the cost of the procedure in their hometown.
What good is an ultrasound if there is no one to interpret it, and more importantly, to follow the pregnancy and deal with any problems that arise over time?
