Well thank you for that, but the press can sink to those levels in the safe knowledge that it will sell newspapers. A fact I find thoroughly depressing. The only thing that makes me feel a little better is the rapid fall in sales of newspapers.

Friends of my parents were guests of Her Majesty and Prince Philip. They were passengers in the back of the car she was driving and she had a lead foot then. This was about 30 years ago. QE 2 has a wicked sense of humour too.

Money is like manure. It stinks up the joint if it's all in a pile. If it's spread out it can do a lot of good. And although HM the Q has a lot of money, it gets spread out and does a lot of good.

It won't. If anything, it's the sort of good press they need right now.

Episcopalian/Anglican, so she gets cut some slack.

I love that story.

A high Episcopalian is a low Catholic so she isn't missing much. :-)

Bronzo the Malignant and his loathsome brood are beneath their notice. They'll be very polite about it, of course, but they can forget any invitations to the palace any time soon.

You are seriously underestimating the levels to which the British press will sink. Especially with regard to their obsession with the Royal family, and in particular, Diana. The opportunity to make very thinly-veiled insinuations about an intelligent black woman will be more than they can resist.Try Googling "Diana Daily Express".This is from March this yearhttps://www.express.co.uk/n...

As a Catholic girls school girl, I'd be shocked if her handwriting was anything less than impeccable. When I was a kid all my Catholic school friends where drilled on their handwriting. It was probably one of the most fundamental things that separated them from us public school kids. FYI, I went to school at 5 and my hand muscles weren't developed enough to write in anything but a scrawl, much to my shame.

Honestly, what I'm reading about the treatment of the Windrush generation, I'm afraid us Yanks wouldn't even get in the door.

Right? I've been saying this for about a year and a half now. Look at Canada. I also think we need to reconsider that whole revolution thing. Maybe it was stupid blathering wingnuts rebelling against a perfectly intelligent, functional country. Maybe it was just lazy morons who didn't understand taxes to begin with. The Founding Fathers did their best to safeguard the idiots against self-destruction, but from the Civil War on, it's been a losing battle.
