So in Houston Sunday night, a whole buncha supporters of traditional discrimination got together for a big ol' prayfest to pray away the gay rights and protest Houston's brand-new law prohibiting discrimination against LGBT people. The event featured a veritable smorgasbord of rightwing heroes, like Mike Huckabee, Todd "Christians are Oppressed" Starnes, and Phil "Duck Calls For Jebus" Robertson. The rally was called to support several pastors who had been subpoenaed for their involvement in a petition drive to overturn the measure. Houston Mayor Annise parker recognized what a publicity nightmare that was, and
“For all you ladies in Texas, trust me when I tell you this: when you’re seated in your restroom, putting on your Maybelline, when I need to take a leak, I’m not going there.” Thunderous applause!
If he promised not to enter any mens' room where I was pissing, I'd applaud that too.
Pres Bartlet: Didn't they attach a family planning rider to the highway bill last year? Josh: They did. Pres: What's with these people? They can't stop talking about sex. Toby: If they can't be havin' it.
"And God created man and called him "Adam"". He said "thou shalt be called Adam and you must stand when you pee, for to sit is an Abomination". "And you must never pee next to a woman for this is a sin, unless you have prearranged an agreed amount of payment to the woman and have rubberized the sheets". "Oh, and by the way, never mix meat with dairy for Veal Parmesan is an Abomination as well".
One of my first thoughts -- and there were many thoughts, not of them complimentary of Robertson -- was what Freud might make of his weird, violent and ugly vision about an atheist family in his rant on that -- rape (a crime of domination of those scary little girls), decapitation (oh, those evil uppity women, how can a self-respecting manly man not think about chopping off the part that makes noise?) and a little radical male castration of a threatening rival who dares challenge Robertson's ignorance (that hypothetical atheist is probably an elitist intellectual who is smarter than Robertson).
Gee - suggest much white conservative male fear verging on terror? Ya think? The only thing missing from that particular rant was a fear of minorities.
Well they are filthy rich douche bags that grew beards to do their show, so the funny thing is, they know better than all the bullshit they say. The not funny part is that it's truly just hatred.

No? Maybe "Liars" ?
Never know when it's going to be a fart or something messy at my age, so yeah, I sit.
Not in a public restroom though because YUCKO.
If it walks like a dick, looks like a dick and quacks. . . .

'Rage against the latrine' - great headline, Dok.
Scott was funny even back in high school, when we were in a play together!

So, what you're saying is they have ways to try to shut the whole thing down.
Actually it is in the Bible:
"And God created man and called him "Adam"". He said "thou shalt be called Adam and you must stand when you pee, for to sit is an Abomination". "And you must never pee next to a woman for this is a sin, unless you have prearranged an agreed amount of payment to the woman and have rubberized the sheets". "Oh, and by the way, never mix meat with dairy for Veal Parmesan is an Abomination as well".
So say'th The Lord.

My right to dehumanize gheys ends at... No, actually, it's a sincerely held belief that isn't negotiable at all.
