More than went along: was Hitler's close protégé and minister of fucking armaments. So yeah, fuck him.

Which makes his friendship with Wiesenthal in the 1970s completely bizarre.

Boot's on the other foot: unless the Duggars get cracking and propagate a whole lot faster, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Iowa, Virginia, New Hampshire, and North Carolina are all sliding blueward.

No, but then, neither is the Bible. Because despite having been written by God and being inerrant, it is just a tad inconsistent.

Just for the sake of historical accuracy: the Nazis spent a good deal of energy attacking Christianity, both Protestant and Catholic, particularly before WWII. The top guys were not very into religion, except in a Wagnerian Gotterdammerung kind of way. Among other things, they had a problem with the fact that Jesus was a Jew.

Of course, this did not prevent many Christians in Europe from enthusiastically supporting the Nazis - including most of the mainstream Christian denominations in Germany.

But Speer would have loved those Southern Baptist and Morman megachurches.

I always thought Speer was a real jerk- went along for the ride, then whined and begged for forgiveness. Fuck that guy.

two things: 1) what is a "Dug-gar," and is it too late to stop the spread? 2) for at least the 4th time today: she seems stupid!

Billions of dead things buried in rock layers, laid down by water...

The dead things deep in the rocks in the Grand Canyon call for considerably more intricate mental gymnastics than this nitwit is capable of. (Xtards insist that the canyon was cut by the flood, which means the rocks were there before the flood, which makes it mighty hard for billions of dead things to end up half a mile underground.)

One of them starts out with the scientific method and tries to find an answer using reason; the other starts out with an answer from an old book of fables, and doesn't try shit.

The Nazis had no use, in principle, for cretins like Alois Hudal, but nonetheless found them very useful.

Don't hold your breath. "Original informed thought" is precisely what Xtard home skoolin' - and intellectual wastelands like Liberty "University" - are designed to discourage.

Mark Twain. When in doubt, it's always Mark Twain.

Tides that often deposit layers of volcanic rock -- and for some reason, a whole bunch of iridium on one particular day. Must have been interesting, living by the beach in ancient times (5,000 years ago.)

Sounds like someone watched that Ben Stein movie about evolution in their home school "science" class. I wonder what movie they watched for Sex Ed., "The 40 Year Old Virgin"?

Funny, the conclusion I would draw is that "When one blames others for their lot in life, the truly evil will exploit that fear until that person believes those others are not even worth consideration as human beings."

Sorta like the direction the far-right has been going since January 20, 2009.
