Hey! We stuck out a finger and suddenly it was covered with yet another crap reaction to this shooting: Congressman Bob Brady (D-PA) has decided to make it illegal to put crosshairs on a map like Sarah Palin's PAC did. He says he's introducing legislation to make it a federal crime "for a person to use language or symbols that could be perceived as threatening or inciting violence against a Member of Congress or federal official."

I guess it would be OK if people refrained from threatening graphics b/c they were illegal. But what I really had in mind was a world where people refrained from threatening graphics because they were civilized and didn't want to seem to condone violence.
