I'll be sobbing alone in my bunk if Trump actually wins.

Sleeping giant: ACTIVATED. And all Trump had to do was begin his campaign by calling them all rapists!

Holy shit, this is wonderful and funny and wonderfully funny.

And I'm really fucking annoyed that my state of NY doesn't have early voting. There is no reason we shouldn't. None.

Dear God, I know I don't believe in you, but please for the sake of all that is holy, do NOT let this short fingered vulgarian get his cheeto colored paws on the White House. I literally cannot bear it!!!!!!! Sorry, I only ever ask you for favors, God, you're probably sick of that shit, but I can't help myself.

There's no reason we shouldn't have mail in ballots. It's absurd how hard they make it to vote. I guess it's because of all that "widespread voter fraud" that was that one guy in 1980.

Well, all I know is that they better not take a tinkle in there!!!!

He's very special, bless his heart.

I can't wait for Republicans to do their usual dissection of why everyone hates them, and they can only win in the states that are full of dumb people.

It could have been ironic. Let's hope it was ironic. Although, sadly I do know a bunch of Log Cabin Republicans, who are completely gross.

It's crazy, isn't it? 38 states have early voting, New York doesn't. Lord knows Albany is a corrupt fucking vile mess. And it's striking that NY is a blue state at all, the Trump support where I live on LI is frightening. Upstate and Western New York, rural areas and rust belts, I get the impression they are pretty Republican and pro-Trump too. So many fucking idiots. It is sheerly due to the population density and ethnic diversity of NYC and its environs that we are a blue state at all. This bothers me.

I used to live on LI. I consider that my true home, but I agree with you, there are plenty of morons in and around NYC. I've been in Ohio and Indiana the past few days, and they are plastered with Trump/Pence banners and "Hillary for Prison, 2016" t-shirts, bumper stickers, etc...I'd like to have a T-shirt made up that says "Republicans for the trash heap, 2016 and forever."

You better get online here and sob with all of us!

I keep thinking of the West Wing advice to not be too sure (temptations of things high atop etc etc), and can't quite comprehend what I'll do if the world explodes, you know, with votes.

But I do keep thinking of my old button from when St. Ronald won his first term, not 3 weeks after my daughter was born. I was depressed, but I was determined: https://uploads.disquscdn.c...

I did read the article. I thought it was misleading right from the start where they post a graphic insinuating that 538 is projecting a massive Trump blowout (538 is predicting a small-to-medium Clinton Victory). The author's complaint was that the Silver projection "didn't pass the smell test" because it assigned small, non-zero probabilities to major blowouts. Well, his "smell test" is just his opinion. Maybe you agree with his opinion or maybe you don't but it doesn't matter because he doesn't offer anything to substantiate it.

Well, we'll probably hear about his conviction soon after the election. He can disappear then, hopefully to jail.
