"Err on the side of mercy"? How about the side of reality?

I've been a Cubs fan all my life. But the shithead Ricketts clan is making me seriously rethink my allegiance. Fuckery like this is rapidly eroding the glory of the 2016 season.

I worry about ever being incarcerated because of my gluten and dairy issues.

don't get me started on the Rickettses.

It's almost as if they are saying intentionally vague things like "more to the story" and "gravity of the facts" in hopes that people will use their own imaginations to fill in the blanks and assume that the Board of Pardons has reason to believe that Jackson is the Zodiac Killer or something (which sure, would be tough since he was born after those crimes occurred, but maybe he was reincarnated).

You have to be Tough on Time to be Tough on Crime.

You will probably die. I would have been dead in a couple of weeks if my family hadn't hired a lawyer who got me bail. If you eat the food you aren't supposed to eat, it will make you sick, and they won't give you any medical care if that happens. I'm told it takes about 3 weeks to starve to death if you have plenty of water to drink while it's happening.

How about no err at all. Let the guy out and pay him for wrongful prosecution.

" ... the wild unreliability of the cell phone location data used to convict him."Like D'Souza's cell phone location data in 2000 MULES that proves the election was stolen from Trump? We've fallen down the rabbit hole and trials are conducted under Red Queen rules of evidence.

Fortunately for Syed, you aren't in the mix.

that is probably why they kept him in, they are hoping the payout mess will be someone elses problem

Fair. So then what is the evidence that he didn’t do it? How come his phone was pinging accurate towers all day until it came to the one near the body and how come Jay knew where the car was? What’s the explanation?

Seems like if he was a "bad inmate" then that's all the more reason to get him out of prison. But no, let's just de facto try and convict and sentence him for being a "bad inmate". Assholes.

You can always fall back on the claim "well, they may not have committed the crime we convicted them of but they probably committed some we don't know about!"

Still waiting for an explanation. Why did his phone ping the correct tower at every point of the day until it was at the location of her body? How did Jay know where the car was?….waiting…

I’ve heard people say for a few weeks that he was OBVIOUSLY innocent. But no one can give an iota of evidence or an explanation. But he’s OBVIOUSLY innocent. But…there’s no explanation for the evidence against him. But he didn’t do it. But no one can tell me know they know he didn’t.

I actually have a life, and am busy with that. Have a law school get involved in proving Syed's guilt.
